Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Livewire Nigeria ("Livewire", "we") runs a platform where people discover live events and local businesses, and where organizers list events, sell tickets and manage attendance. By using the platform you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for everything done through your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, impersonate others, or put other users at risk.
3. Listings and organizers
Organizers are responsible for their own events and venues: the description, the date and place, the price, the capacity, and actually delivering what was advertised. We verify identity before payouts, but we do not run the events ourselves and are not the organizer of them. Listings that are misleading, illegal, or unsafe will be removed.
4. Tickets and payments
Prices are shown in Naira and include any platform fee stated at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we do not store your card details. A ticket is valid for one entry and may be voided if the payment is reversed. Tickets must not be resold above face value.
5. Refunds and cancellations
If an organizer cancels an event, buyers are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. Otherwise, refunds are at the organizer's discretion and can be requested from your ticket. Approved refunds return to the original card. Platform fees on completed sales may be non-refundable.
6. Payouts
Organizers receive their share of ticket sales to the verified bank account on their profile, less the platform fee shown in their dashboard. We may hold or reverse a payout while a dispute, chargeback or suspected fraud is being reviewed.
7. Acceptable use
Do not post unlawful, hateful, or deceptive content; do not scrape the platform; do not attempt to break our security; do not use the messaging or review features to harass anyone. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience.
8. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display, resize and share it as part of running and promoting the platform. You confirm you have the right to post any images you upload.
9. Liability
The platform is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens at an event, for an organizer's conduct, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Questions go to our contact page. See also our privacy policy.
