Livewire Nigeria ("we", "us") operates the Livewire platform for discovering events and places across Nigeria. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account: email, display name, avatar, and authentication provider (e.g. Google).
Profile & KYC: information you submit to verify your identity or business, including uploaded documents.
Listings & activity: events and places you post, RSVPs, tickets, saves, reviews, and messages you send.
Device & usage: approximate location (only when you tap "Near me"), IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Notifications: if you enable push notifications, we store your push subscription.

How we use your information

Provide and improve the service (show events near you, deliver messages, issue tickets).
Verify organizers and prevent fraud and abuse.
Send transactional emails and notifications you have opted into.
Comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited information is shared with service providers who host our infrastructure, deliver notifications, and process payments strictly to operate Livewire. Organizer-facing information you provide when RSVPing or messaging is visible to that organizer.

Your rights

Access & correction: update your profile from the dashboard.
Deletion: permanently delete your account and associated data from the dashboard, or by emailing us.
Push notifications: disable any time from the dashboard.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, listings you own, RSVPs, saves, reviews and messages you sent are removed or anonymised.
